Questions people ask us first
Do you provide therapy or clinical treatment?
Not at this time. Our current services — recovery and resource navigation, recovery support, general education, and professional training — are non-clinical. We will add clinical services once the additional professional authorization and any applicable New York approvals are in place.
Is everything virtual?
Yes. Novus Path Resources is telehealth-first. Sessions, workshops, and consultations are all delivered through secure video, so you can take part from wherever you feel most at ease.
What does recovery and resource navigation include?
One-to-one support to identify your goals, the practical barriers in the way, and the community resources, recovery supports, and service connections that fit your situation.
How much do services cost?
We begin with a simple private-pay model. Fees depend on the service and session length, and they are always confirmed before we begin. Every new client starts with a free 20-minute consultation to talk through fit and payment options.
Do you receive payment for referrals?
No. Referral and community relationships are transparent, and Novus Path Resources never receives referral commissions.
Who do you work with?
Adult individuals age 18 and older, adult family members navigating resources for a loved one, people transitioning between services, and organizations looking for training, education, or documentation consultation. Services are for adults age 18 and older.
Can you train or consult with our organization?
Yes. Professional training and education covers topics such as preventing burnout and managing compassion stress and fatigue, documenting evidence-based practices in progress notes, interactive counseling 101, and understanding and managing anger — available to individual learners and to teams and agencies, with participants age 18 and older. The signature topics are in development, and we do not provide continuing education credits, certification, or court approval.
Who is behind Novus Path Resources?
The practice is founder-led by Geraldine Ghery Chery, MPH, HS-BCP, CASAC, ICADC — Master of Public Health, Human Services–Board Certified Practitioner, Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor, and International Credentialed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
